Employees and customers were asked to remove a tag from the tree. Each tag had a wish list for clothing and toys. Participants shopped for their child and returned the unwrapped gifts to the Wellsboro C&N office, where they were picked up by Northern Tier Helping Hands volunteers for distribution to the children. In addition to the gifts, several monetary contributions were also received for Helping Hands.
“We are so grateful to our employees and customers who helped us meet our goal of helping 50 families,” said Carol Scranton, C&N Wellsboro office customer service representative and Angel Tree coordinator.
