TOWANDA, PA – The Grace Connection, a non-profit agency in Towanda that helps meet the needs of financially distressed individuals, has received a $250 donation from the C&N Trust and Financial Management Group. The donation was one of five made by the Group as its holiday gift to its clients. Contributions are made to non-profit organizations in each region the Group serves.
The Grace Connection is an ecumenical venture of the churches in the Towanda, Northeast Bradford and Wyalusing school districts and in the Ulster area. The agency provides emergency assistance to families in need of shelter, heat, transportation, food, clothing, and other items. They also provide assistance with shut offs on utilities, eviction notices, emergency medicine and rent. Anyone wishing to donate may call (570) 268-0431.
Assets under management by C&N’s Trust and Financial Management Group totaled more than $705 million in December, 2012. A division of Citizens & Northern Bank, the group has offices in Canisteo, NY, Coudersport, Sayre, Towanda, Wellsboro and Williamsport.
